On Monday we head back to Kenya. It has been a whirlwind 5 months back in the states and it’s been great seeing so many of you. Thanks to all of you who make it possible for us to serve overseas! Our family is eager to get back into our Kenyan “routine”. We will hit the ground running as we arrive on December 29th, RVA in-service starts January 1st, and the students return January 2nd. Shane is working on some new discipleship material to be used during Sports Friends training. He will also be hiring some new staff since Sports Friends has grown way beyond what he and Lemmy can handle on their own.
This is the first time for us to head to Africa as a family of four instead of five, since Hannah is now at A&M. Please pray for all of us in this new transition. Our plan at this point is to be in Kenya for the next 2.5 years and then come back for a home assignment when Mia graduates.
