Right before we left to come back to Kenya, we had a special delivery from the 10 year old daughter of some of our friends. Brooke and her brothers had a bake sale to raise money for our work in Kenya and she had come to give us the money… right at $100. We promised Brooke that we would let her know what her money was used for.

This week, one of the pastors Shane works with told Shane about a boy in his community who had been praying for a wheelchair for a year. The cost of the wheelchair – guess how much… $100! We knew without a doubt that this was how Brooke’s money should be used.

Pastor Kennedy was able to purchase the wheelchair and give it to the little boy named Happy. The whole community came out to celebrate with Happy and his family. Thank you Brooke for making a huge difference in Happy’s life!
